Cancellation & Refund Policy

A 45-minute consultation costs CAD $100, including GST/HST. This fee is for the consultation only and does not include ongoing representation, application preparation or government fees. Booking is through our Google Calendar appointment schedule.

Your appointment fee is refundable when you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled meeting time. Exactly 48 hours qualifies. The notice period is measured against the confirmed appointment time, taking its time zone into account.

Cancellations less than 48 hours before the meeting, and missed appointments without qualifying advance cancellation, do not qualify for a refund under this advance-cancellation rule. Any refund right required by applicable law remains unaffected.

Use the cancellation option in your Google Calendar appointment confirmation, if available, or email admin@apimmlawinc.ca with your booking name, appointment date/time and a clear request to cancel and refund the fee. Send email notice early enough that it is received at least 48 hours before the meeting. Keep your cancellation confirmation or sent request. Do not include payment-card numbers or sensitive immigration documents.

If you cancel through the calendar, contact the practice with your cancellation confirmation to arrange the refund. Cancellation is not a promise that the payment provider will issue a refund automatically. We will confirm the request and explain the payment method and processing timing; no fixed processing time is promised here.

Contact the practice about rescheduling, provider-cancelled appointments, technical disruptions, disputed payments or exceptional circumstances. This policy does not invent additional fee amounts, guaranteed exceptions or deadlines for those situations. A rescheduling request alone is not confirmation of a replacement appointment.

A consultation alone does not create a client relationship. A signed retainer agreement is required for that relationship and governs any separately agreed professional services and fees. These appointment terms do not replace it. See our Terms of Use.
