1. Privacy contact and scope

Amoateng Patrick Immigration Services Inc. is the operator responsible for this website’s privacy notice. Our named Privacy Officer is Patrick Amoateng. Send privacy requests to admin@apimmlawinc.ca or to our address above, marked “Privacy Officer.”

This notice covers the public website. It is not a substitute for the confidentiality, consent and record-handling terms of a signed professional retainer.

2. Information involved

  • Browsing: hosting, delivery and diagnostic services may receive IP addresses, browser/device information, requested pages, timestamps and error details necessary to deliver and troubleshoot the site.
  • Ella: messages you choose to type, the conversation sent with each request and generated replies. Immigration questions can disclose personal or sensitive information; use general descriptions instead of identifying details.
  • Booking and contact: Google Calendar collects the information requested by the appointment form. The practice receives appointment details and information you send by email, phone or WhatsApp. Any payment information is handled according to the payment service presented during booking.
  • Calculators: answers and scores are calculated in your browser. The current calculator flow does not submit answers to APImmi or create an account record; browser extensions, device access and general technical logs are separate considerations.
  • Citizenship Challenge: answers, scores and the optional sound setting stay in your browser for the current visit only. They are not saved, sent to APImmi or linked to you, and are cleared when you leave or replay the game.
  • Preferences: your theme preference and Ella conversation are saved in browser storage as described below.

The public website has no client login, on-site document-upload form or client account dashboard. Do not use Ella as a channel to send confidential documents.

3. Purposes and choices

Information is used to provide the website, generate requested AI replies, schedule consultations, respond to enquiries, administer payments and refund requests, and diagnose technical problems. Where applicable law requires consent, we seek that consent; other lawful grounds may include steps you request toward a service, contractual obligations, legal obligations or legitimate purposes recognized by the applicable law.

You can browse without using Ella. Ella requires an adult confirmation and consent to the disclosed AI processing and browser storage before chat is enabled. You may stop using Ella, delete its browser history or contact the Privacy Officer to withdraw consent or exercise applicable rights. Withdrawal does not reverse processing already performed or override legally required recordkeeping.

4. Ella processing and seven-day browser history

Messages sent to Ella travel through our website’s chat service to the Lovable AI gateway and its model-processing providers to produce a response. Earlier messages in the current conversation may be sent again as context. A browser-local history is not the same as processing only on your device.

One conversation is saved in this browser for up to seven days from its first message; adding messages does not extend the period. Expired history is deleted when the site is active or next opened. A closed browser cannot run a deletion task. Use the “Delete Ella conversation” control to remove local history sooner, or clear this site’s browser data. On a shared device, anyone with browser access may be able to read stored history.

The website does not store Ella conversations in its APImmi shared content records. The seven-day limit applies only to this website’s browser history. AI providers and hosting services may process or retain request and diagnostic records separately; their complete retention and model-training practices have not been verified for this integration, and this notice does not promise that deleting browser history deletes provider records. Contact the Privacy Officer with questions before sharing sensitive information.

Ella is restricted to users aged 18 or older. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us without resending unnecessary sensitive details.

5. Service providers and external links

Website delivery uses Lovable hosting and related delivery/diagnostic services. APImmi (Supabase) supplies public website content settings and service catalogs; those public catalogs are not intended for visitor information. Google Calendar operates the appointment form. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts. Email, WhatsApp and social links connect to independent services when you use them.

These services may receive technical identifiers or information you submit and may process data outside your country. Review Google’s Privacy Policy and the privacy notices of services you choose to use. This website does not itself host a payment-card collection form. The payment service shown by the booking provider governs its own payment processing.

6. Retention, safeguards and disclosures

Local Ella history has the seven-day limit described above. Booking, correspondence, billing and any professional client records are separate from that history; their retention depends on purpose, provider settings and applicable legal or professional obligations. No fixed retention period for those records is promised by this notice. Ask the Privacy Officer for information about a particular record.

Please do not send sensitive documents through public chat or social channels. No online system is risk-free. We do not claim a particular security certification, universal encryption coverage or guaranteed breach prevention. We may disclose information when necessary to supply a requested service, satisfy a lawful requirement, respond to a regulator or protect legal rights, subject to applicable law.

7. Canadian privacy rights

Depending on the applicable law, including Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may request information about our handling of your personal information, access to it, correction of inaccuracies and withdrawal of consent, subject to lawful exceptions. Contact Patrick Amoateng using the details above. We may need proportionate identity verification before releasing information; do not email identity documents unless we agree on a suitable channel.

You may raise an unresolved concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another competent authority. We will handle requests within the time limits that applicable law requires.

8. Visitors in Ghana

Where Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) applies, relevant rights can include access, correction and applicable objections to processing or direct marketing, and requests for rectification, blocking or erasure subject to the Act’s conditions. Contact our Privacy Officer about requests or cross-border processing concerns. You can also contact Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.

Whether registration requirements, transfer conditions or other Ghana-specific duties apply depends on the actual processing and legal scope. This notice does not claim Ghanaian registration or certification.

9. Visitors in Nigeria

Where the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 applies, relevant rights can include information, access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. Contact our Privacy Officer to exercise a right or ask about the basis for processing and international transfers. Complaints may also be raised with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Applicable legal grounds and any required cross-border safeguards depend on the specific processing. This notice does not claim Nigerian registration, certification or a verified transfer arrangement.

10. Changes and related notices

This policy is effective November 2, 2026. Updates will appear here with an updated effective date; where applicable law requires further notice or consent, a posted update alone does not replace that requirement. See the Cookies & Browser Storage Notice for more about browser data and the Terms of Use for website conditions.
